Nasol Indications
Treatment of acute rhinitis, sinusitis, acute otitis (as adjuvant) in children aged 2 months to 6 years.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug (allergic reaction), a significant increase in blood pressure, tahisystolichni cardiac arrhythmias, decompensated heart failure, cardiac conduction, renal failure, thyrotoxicosis, acute pancreatitis, hepatitis, atrophic rhinitis, simultaneous use of inhibitors of monoamine oxidase, or for 15 days after discontinuation of MAO inhibitors.
Dosage & Administration
Bury in each nostril for children aged 2 months to 1 year - 1 drop; 1 to 2 years - 1-2 drops; from 2 to 6 years - 2-3 drops. Repeat no earlier than 4 hours, but not more than 4 times a day.
Children under 6 years are assumed with a more concentrated solutions of phenylephrine (0.25%), for example Nazol Kids.
The duration of use is typically less than 3 days.
