Meralys Indications
Symptomatic treatment of nasal congestion with colds, hay fever, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis.
To facilitate the outflow of secretions in diseases of the paranasal sinuses.
Adjunctive therapy in cases of otitis media (for removal of mucosal edema).
To facilitate rhinoscopy.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to ksilometazolina or other components of the drug;
- Dryness of the nasal mucosa to form crusts (dry rhinitis);
- Transfenoyidalna hipofizektomiya and surgical intervention oholyuvannyam mater history;
- Children under 2 years to 0.05% spray;
- Children under 6 years to 0.1% spray;
- During pregnancy.
Dosage & Administration
Before using the drug should thoroughly clean the nose.
Meralis 0.05% nasal spray is prescribed to children aged 2 to 6 years and 1 injection in each nostril 1-2 times a day.
Meralis 0.1% nasal spray is prescribed for adults and children aged 6 years 1 injection in each nostril 2-3 times a day.
