Details

Rozamax Indications

Decreased intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma and increased intraocular pressure who do not respond adequately to topical beta-adrenolytics or topical prostaglandin analogues.

Contradictions

The drug is contraindicated in patients with:

- diseases that are accompanied by increased airway reactivity, in particular with bronchial asthma (including in the anamnesis) and with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease;

- sinus bradycardia, sinoatrial block due to the syndrome of weakness of the sinus node, atrioventricular block II or III degree, which is not controlled by a pacemaker, open heart failure, cardiogenic shock;

- hypersensitivity to any of the active substances or excipients.

Dosage & Administration

Recommended dosage for adult patients (including elderly patients): 1 drop in a sore eye once a day. If a single dose is missed, treatment should be continued with the next dose. The drug should not be used more than 1 drop in a sore eye once a day. Contact lenses should be removed before instilling eye drops and can be re-inserted after 15 minutes (see "Specifics").

If you use more than one ophthalmic drug for topical use, the drugs should be administered at intervals of at least 5 minutes. Blockage of the lacrimal duct or closing of the eyelids for 2 minutes after instillation limits the systemic effect and increases the local activity of the drug.

Children and adolescents. There are no data on the safety and efficacy of Rosamax® for children and adolescents.
