RISENDROS Indications

Treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis, to reduce the risk of vertebral fractures.
Treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis confirmed, to reduce the risk of hip fracture.
Treatment of osteoporosis in men at high risk of fractures.
 

Contraindications

─ Known hypersensitivity to risedronate or to any of the excipients.
─ Hypocalcemia.
─ severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance <30 mL / min).
─ Pregnancy and lactation.
 

Dosage & Administration

The recommended dose for adults - 1 tablet orally 1 time a week. The tablet should be taken in the same day of the week. In risedronate affects food intake, so to ensure proper absorption patients should take 35 Ryzendros at least 30 minutes before the first meal of the day, other drugs or drink (except plain water).

Patients should be instructed about the fact that in the case of missed doses can be taken as a pill Ryzendros 35 on the day when the patient remembers drug. Then patients are back to the drug scheme 1 tablet 1 time per week, on the day when the drug is usually taken. In the same day can not take two tablets.

Tablets should be swallowed whole, without chewing and resolving it. To facilitate the flow of the tablet in the stomach, the drug should ingest 35 Ryzendros standing with a glass of plain water (at least 120 ml). Patients should not take lying position for 30 minutes after taking the tablet (see. Section "Peculiarities of Application").a
