Riboxin Indications
- In the complex treatment of coronary heart disease (a condition after myocardial infarction, angina),
- heart rhythm disturbances,
- intoxication drugs cardiac glycosides,
- treatment of cardiomyopathies of various origins,
- myocarditis,
- liver disease (hepatitis , cirrhosis, fatty liver).
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to inosine or other components of the drug;
- Gout;
- Hyperuricemia;
- Renal failure.
Dosage & Administration
Tablets are taken internally to eat, chew and do not drink enough water. The daily dose is determined individually and is for adults 600-2400 mg (3-12 tablets). For adults in the first days of treatment dose is 600-800 mg (1 tablet 3-4 times a day). If well tolerated, the dose increase for 2-3 days to 1200 mg (2 tablets 3 times a day) to 2400 mg.
Duration of treatment - from 4 weeks to 1.5-3 months.
In urokoproporfiriyi daily dose is 800 mg (1 tablet 4 times a day), duration of treatment - 1-3 months.
