Flavamed Indications

therapy in acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases involving violation of bronchial secretions and mucus weakening promotion.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to ambroxol hydrochloride or to any component of the drug. Application of patients with hereditary galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or malabsorption syndrome glucose / galactose.

Dosage & Administration

Subsequent doses are recommended for use Flavamed® solution cough:

Children under 2 years old. ½ measuring spoon (2.5 mL) oral solution 2 times a day, which is 15 mg ambroxol day.

Children aged 2 to 5 years. ½ measuring spoon (2.5 mL) oral solution 3 times a day, which is 22.5 mg ambroxol day.

Children aged 6 to 12 years. Measuring 1 teaspoon (5.0 mL) oral solution 2-3 times a day, which is 30-45 mg ambroxol day.

Adults and children over 12 years. 2 measuring spoons (10.0 mL) oral solution 3 times a day, which is 90 mg ambroxol per day during the first 2-3 days, and more - to 2 measuring spoons (10 mL) oral solution 2 times a day, which is ambroxol 60 mg per day.

The dose for adults if necessary, can be increased to 20 ml, 2 times a day (equivalent to 120 mg ambroxol hydrochloride per day).
