Ambrobene Indications
Therapy for acute and chronic broncho-pulmonary diseases associated with bronchial secretion disorders and weakening of mucus promotion.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ambroxol and / or other ingredients.
Rare inherited conditions are possible because of incompatibility with the drug excipients
Dosage & Administration
Ambrobene tablets of 30 mg are taken internally after meal with plenty of warm liquid (like tea or soup). Mucolytic effect of ambroxol increases in the use of large amounts of fluid.
Children between 6 and 12 years - dose is 1/2 tablet 2-3 times a day (equivalent to 30-45 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).
Children under 12 years of age and adults - dose is 1 tablet 3 times a day for the first 2-3 days (equivalent to 90 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day). Treatment continue to use one pill 2 times per day (equivalent to 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).
If necessary therapeutic effect for adults and children over 12 years can be enhanced using 2 tablets 2 times a day (equivalent to 120 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).
The duration of treatment depends on the characteristics of the disease.
Ambrobene tablets should not be used longer than 4-5 days without consulting a doctor.
