Qlaira Indications

Oral contraception.

Treatment of heavy menstrual bleeding in women without organic pathology who appointed oral contraception.

Contraindications

Do not use combined oral contraceptives (CCP) in the presence of any of the conditions or diseases described below; if any of them evolved in the early use of CCP must immediately stop taking the drug:

- Venous or arterial thrombotic / thromboembolic events (eg deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarction) or cerebrovascular events occur now or occurred in the past;

- Condition that may be the first sign of thrombosis (eg, transient ischemic attack, angina) that occurs now or occurred in the past;

- A high risk of venous or arterial thrombosis;

- Diabetes with vascular complications;

- Severe hypertension;

- Expressed disturbances of lipid metabolism;

Dosage & Administration

For oral administration.

Tablets should be taken in the order indicated on the package every day at about the same time, drinking plenty of fluids. Tablets should be taken continuously. Take 1 tablet daily for 28 consecutive days. Every subsequent package should start the day after the last tablet of the previous package. Breakthrough bleeding usually starts during the reception of the last pill from the package and can last before the pill from the next pack. In some women, the bleeding starts after taking the first pill from the package.
