Alzepil Indications
Symptomatic treatment of Alzheimer's disease with mild or moderate severity.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to donepezil hydrochloride, piperidine derivatives or to any of the excipients of the drug.
Dosage & Administration
Adults and elderly patients.
Treatment start with a dose of 5 mg / day (reception 1 per day). Alzepil need to take internally evening just before bedtime. Doses of 5 mg / day should be observed for at least one month to provide the best possible early clinical response to treatment and the evaluation to achieve equilibrium concentration of donepezil hydrochloride. After clinical evaluation of treatment with 5 mg / day for 1 month donepezil dose can be increased to 10 mg / day (reception 1 per day).
The maximum recommended dose is 10 mg. Doses greater than 10 mg / day, clinical studies have not studied.
