PALIN Indications

Acute and chronic urinary tract infections in the acute stage caused by bacteria sensitive to pepemidic acid,

including pyelonephritis, urethritis, cystitis, prostatitis, peyelitis.

Contraindications

The drug is contraindicated in patients with increased sensitivity to pepemidic acid, quinolones or to any other ingredient of the drug, patients with epilepsy or other neurological diseases with reduced seizure threshold, with deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, patients with porphyria, severe renal impairment (clearance creatinine <10 ml / min) and liver.

Dosage & Administration

Treatment of cystitis, prostatitis, pyelonephritis, urethritis, peyelitis (adults), the recommended dose is 400 mg (2 capsules of 200 mg) 2 times a day - in the morning and evening.

Medicament should be taken after eating.

Duration of treatment is usually 10 days.
