OLFEN Indications
The drug is administered by intramuscular injection in the following states:
- Aggravation of inflammatory or degenerative forms of rheumatism: rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, spondylitis, vertebral pain syndromes, extraarticular rheumatism
- Acute attacks of gout
- Renal and hepatic colic
- Pain, inflammation and swelling after injuries and surgeries.
Dosage & Administration
The dose is adjusted individually. The drug should be used at the smallest effective dose for the shortest period of time, given the goal of treatment for each individual patient.
Before using the drug Olfen-75, there is requirement for skin test for hypersensitivity to the active ingredient of the drug - lidocaine hydrochloride. Olfen-75 is used by intramuscular injection.
