Neocebron Indications
- Stroke, acute phase of stroke and treatment of complications and consequences of stroke.
- Traumatic brain injury and its neurological effects.
- Cognitive impairment and behavioral disorders due to chronic diseases and degenerative brain disorders.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Increased tone of the parasympathetic nervous system.
Dosage & Administration
For intravenous or intramuscular administration.
The recommended dose for adults is 500 mg to 2000 mg per day.
The treatment in the first 2 weeks appoint 500-1000 mg 2 times a day intravenously, then - 500-1000 mg 2 times a day intramuscularly.
The maximum daily dose - 2000 mg.
In acute conditions maximum therapeutic effect is provided use of the drug in the first 24 hours.
If necessary, continue treatment for oral citicoline. The recommended course of treatment, where there is maximum therapeutic effect of 12 weeks.
The dose and duration of treatment depends on the severity of the brain damage and the doctor determined individually.
Intravenously administered in the form of slow intravenous injection (for 3-5 minutes, depending on the dose administered) or intravenous drip (40-60 drops per minute).
Elderly patients do not require dose adjustment.
