Miorytmil Darnitsa Indications

Relapse prevention:
- life-threatening ventricular tachycardia: the drug is prescribed only in a hospital under observation;
- documented symptomatic and incapacitating ventricular tachycardia;
- documented supraventricular tachycardia when the need for the appointment of the drug was detected in patients with disease refractory to other treatments, or the presence of contraindications to other methods of treatment of ventricular fibrillation.

Treatment of supraventricular tachycardia: slowing or reduction in atrial fibrillation or flutter.
Amiodarone can be used in patients with coronary artery disease and / or left ventricular cardiac dysfunction (see. Pharmacological properties).

Dosage & Administration

Assign for adult, inside during or after a meal, without chewing, with a small amount of liquid.
Initial treatment
Normal dosage regimen - 3 tablets a day for 8-10 days.
In some cases the initial treatment of higher doses (4-5 tablets per day), but always - in a short period of time and with monitoring of an electrocardiogram.
Maintenance treatment
Minimal effective dose, which may vary depending on the patient and to vary from 0.5 tablets per day (one tablet per 2 days) to 2 tablets per day to be determined.

Contradictions

- Sinus bradycardia, sinoatrial heart block in the absence of endocardial pacemaker (pacemaker).
- Sinus node weakness syndrome in the absence of endocardial pacemaker (risk of cardiac sinus node).
- Violations of atrioventricular conduction in the absence of a high degree of endocardial pacemaker.
- Thyroid dysfunction.
 -Increased sensitivity to iodine, amiodarone or one of the excipients.
- In combination with drugs that may induce the occurrence of twisting of ventricular tachycardia (torsades de pointes):
- Class I antiarrhythmics (quinidine, gidrohinidin, disopyramide);
- Class III antiarrhythmics (sotalol, dofetilide, Ibutilide).
