METHYLURACILUM Indications
Agranulocytic quinine, alimentary-toxic aleukiya, chronic benzol intoxication, leukopenia, due to chemotherapy of tumors, radiotherapy or radiotherapy or other factors. In the complex treatment of wounds that fluffy heal; burns; trophic ulcers; bone fractures; peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer.
Contradictions
Hypersensitivity to methyluracil or to other components of the drug.
The medicament is contraindicated in acute and chronic (usually myeloid) forms of leukemia, lymphogranulomatosis, malignant diseases of the bone marrow.
Dosage & Administration
Adults are prescribed with a dose of 500 mg 4 times a day (if necessary - up to 6 times a day).
Doses for children aged 3 to 8 years - 250 mg (1/2 tablets 3 times a day), children from the age of 8 years - 250-500 mg 3 times a day.
The course of treatment is determined by the physician depending on the nature and course of the disease.
The course of treatment for stomach ulcers and duodenal ulcer is usually 30-40 days, in other cases the course of treatment may be less prolonged.
