LOXOF Indications
infections of mild or moderate severity caused by levofloxacin susceptible microorganisms: acute sinusitis, exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, complicated and uncomplicated urinary tract infections (including pyelonephritis), infections of skin and soft tissue, chronic bacterial prostatitis.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to levofloxacin or other quinolones or to any of the excipients of the drug; epilepsy; patients complaining of side effects tendon after previous use of quinolones.
Dosage & Administration
Loxof tablets should be taken 1 or 2 times a day. The dose and duration of treatment depends on the type and severity of infection of the disease. Loksofom recommended to continue treatment for at least 48-72 hours after normalization of body temperature or microbiological tests confirmed the absence of pathogens.
Loxof Tablets should be swallowed without chewing, drinking plenty of fluids. Take them as you can with meals and in between meals.
If necessary, use the doses below 500 mg, the drug should be used in a different dosage form or other content of the active ingredient.
