LOCID Indications
Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, reflux esophagitis, acute stomach ulcers; hyperacid gastritis; ulcer bleeding from the upper gastrointestinal tract, as well as the risk of bleeding from the upper gastrointestinal tract in patients
risk groups, prevention of aspiration syndrome, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, Helicobacter pylori eradication (in combination with antibacterial agents).
Contradictions
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, periods of pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is not recommended to prescribe the drug for children under 12 years of age.
Dosage & Administration
Peptic ulcer - adults 1-2 capsules in the morning, nascha; course of treatment - 2-4 weeks.
Reflux esophagitis - 2 capsules, the duration of treatment is 4-8 weeks.
Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, the initial dose is 60 mg per day, in the morning (3 capsules), immediately, if necessary, increase the dose to 80 mg (4 capsules) in two doses, in the morning and evening, before eating.
With resistance to other anti-ulcer drugs, Locid 20 should be administered at an initial dose of 40 mg per day, once a day.
