Lipster indications
- Skin and mucosal infections caused by the Herpes simplex virus, including primary genital herpes infections and relapses (excluding neonatal herpes simplex infections and severe Herpes simplex infections in children with impaired immune responses).
- For the prevention of recurrent Herpes simplex infections in patients with normal immunity.
- For the prevention of Herpes simplex infection in immunocompromised patients.
- For the treatment of infections caused by Varicella zoster virus (chickenpox and shingles).
Lipster contraindications
Hypersensitivity to acyclovir, valacyclovir or to other components of the drug.
