Linotor Indications
Hypertension, acute myocardial infarction in the first 24 hours provided a stable hemodynamics.
Cntradictions
Hypersensitivity to lizinoprilu, other ACE inhibitors or other components of the preparation. Angioedema in history, including after previous treatment with ACE inhibitors. Idiopathic or hereditary angioedema.
Renal artery stenosis, especially bilateral stenosis or stenosis of the artery only kidney. Severe heart failure, severe arterial or renovascular hypertension, cardiomyopathy, aortic stenosis.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Child age.
Dosage & Administration
Administered orally for adults. Linotor is recommended to take 1 time a day at one and the same time. The drug can be taken with or without food, because the food does not affect absorption of the drug, but not necessarily with a sufficient amount of liquid.
Arterial hypertension. The recommended starting dose is 5 mg / day in 1 reception. After 24 hours, increase the dose of 5 mg. If the desired therapeutic effect is not achieved for 2-4 weeks, the dose may be increased to 20 mg 1 time per day.
Patients with an activated renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (in particular resistant hypertension, hypovolemia, cardiac decompensation), possibly an excessive fall in blood pressure. For these patients, the recommended initial daily dose is 2.5-5 mg, treatment requires constant medical supervision. The maintenance dose is 20 mg / day.
Acute myocardial infarction. Treatment with Linotor should begin within the first 24 hours after onset of symptoms in the absence of contraindications (hypotension, hypovolemia, renal failure). The initial dose is 5 mg. The target dose Linotor drug is 10 mg 1 time per day.
