Lincomycin Indications
It is indicated for the treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible strains of lincomycin gram-positive aerobic microorganisms such as streptococci, pneumococci, and staphylococci, or drug susceptible anaerobic bacteria:
1. Infections of the upper respiratory tract, chronic sinusitis caused by anaerobic strains. Lincomycin can be used to treat some cases of suppurative otitis media or as a means to further treatment with an antibiotic that is effective against gram-negative aerobic pathogens. Infections caused by H. influenzae, is not an indication for the drug (see. Section "Pharmacodynamics").
2. Infections of the lower respiratory tract, including infectious exacerbation of chronic bronchitis and infectious pneumonia.
3. Serious infections of the skin and soft tissues caused by susceptible microorganisms when antibiotics penicillin groups are not shown.
4. bone and joint infections including osteomyelitis and septic arthritis.
5. Septicemia and endocarditis. In some cases, septicemia and / or endocarditis due to sensitivity to lincomycin pathogens observed severe response to treatment lincomycin. However, for the treatment of infections often prefer to use bactericidal drugs.
Contraindications
· Increased sensitivity to lincomycin, clindamycin, to the drug;
· Myasthenia gravis;
· Colitis exacerbation;
· Meningitis.
Dosage & Administration

Duration of treatment is determined individually by a doctor. The drug is advisable to take 1-2 hours before or 1-2 hours after meals. Hard capsules should be drank with plenty of water.
