Topical treatment of bacterial external ocular infections in patients over 1 year of age caused by microorganisms sensitive to levofloxacin.
Contradictions
Hypersensitivity to the active substance levofloxacin, to other quinolines or to any other component of the drug.
Children under 1 year.
Dosage & Administration
1-2 drops in the affected eye (s) every 2 hours up to 8 times a day for the first two days after waking up, and then 4 times a day from the 3rd to the 5th day.
The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the disorder and the clinical and bacteriological course of the disease. Usually the treatment period is 5 days.
When using different topical ophthalmic drugs in parallel, the interval between instillations should be at least 15 minutes. Eye ointments should be applied last.
To prevent contamination of the pipette and solution, the edge of the pipette should not come into contact with the eyelids or the surrounding area of the eye.
The safety and efficacy of the drug in the treatment of corneal ulcers and neonatal blenorrhea have not been established.

Doses for such patients are similar to those used for adults and children over 1 year of age.
