Leflocin INDICATIONS
is indicated in infectious and inflammatory diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to: respiratory tract infections, ear, throat, skin and soft tissues of the abdomen, kidney, urinary tract; gynecological infections, osteomyelitis, and septicemia when, gonorrhea, meningitis, dysentery, salmonellosis.
The drug is used in the preoperative and postoperative prophylaxis of surgical infection in patients with reduced immunity.
APPLICATION: Leflocin for adults - drip 250-500 mg (50-100 ml) depending on the severity of the infection and the sensitivity of the pathogen 1-2 times a day with a mean treatment duration of 10-14 days.
Recommended duration of infusion of the drug at a dose of 500 mg - not less than 60 minutes. For pneumonia - recommended dose is 500 mg 2 times a day.
For the treatment of tuberculosis - 1000 mg 1 time per day.
For the treatment of urinary tract infections - 250 mg 1 time per day; skin and soft tissue infections - 250 mg 2 times a day. If the kidney function Leflocin is introduced for creatinine clearance.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to quinolones, pregnancy and lactation. The drug should not be prescribed to children and adolescents up to 18 years.
