Koripren application
Patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with 10 mg of lerkanidipine as monotherapy may increase the dose of lerkanidipine to 20 mg or switch to a fixed combination of active ingredients, Coripren 10 mg/10 mg.
Individual dose selection may be recommended. Switching from monotherapy to a fixed combination may also be considered if clinically acceptable.
The tablets are taken orally, the recommended dose is 1 tablet once a day.
The drug should be taken preferably in the morning, at least 15 minutes before breakfast. This drug should not be taken with grapefruit juice.
Elderly patients. Treatment of patients depends on the state of kidney function.
Dosage in renal failure: Coripren 10 mg/10 mg is contraindicated in patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance 30 ml/min) and in patients undergoing hemodialysis. At the beginning of treatment, patients with mild to moderate renal impairment should be treated with particular caution.
Dosage in hepatic impairment. Coripren 10 mg/10 mg is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment. At the beginning of treatment, patients with mild to moderate hepatic impairment should be treated with particular caution.
Children.
The efficacy and safety of Coripren for the treatment of children have not been established. The drug is not used in pediatric practice.
