Klerimed Indications

Treatment of infections caused by organisms susceptible to clarithromycin:

- Upper respiratory tract infection (pharyngitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis)

- Lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia)

- Infections of skin and soft tissue (folliculitis, eryzypeloyid)

- Disseminated or localized mycobacterial infections caused by Mycobacterium avium or Mycobacterium intracellulare

- Localized infection caused by Mycobacterium chelonae, Mycobacterium fortuitum or Mycobacterium kansasii

- Prevention of disseminated infections caused by the complex Mycobacterium avium (MAC) in HIV-infected patients with the number of CD4 lymphocytes <100 / mm3

- Eradication of H. pylori in patients with duodenal ulcer in the inhibition of secretion of hydrochloric acid, causing yake omeprazole or lansoprazole (activity of clarithromycin against H. pylori is greater at neutral pH, than at acidic pH)

- Treatment of odontogenic infections.
