Ketonal Forte Indications

Joint diseases: rheumatoid arthritis; serologically negative spondylitis (ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis); gout, pseudogout; osteoarthritis; extra-articular rheumatism (tendonitis, bursitis, capsulitis of the shoulder joint);

Pain: lumbago, post-traumatic pain in the joints and muscles; post-operative pain; the pain of metastatic tumors in the bone; algomenorrhea.

Administration

The recommended dose of 100-200 mg / day (1 tablet 1-2 times a day), depending on the body weight and severity of symptoms.

Tablets Ketonal Forte can be used in combination with Ketonal suppositories according to this scheme: 1 tablet in the morning and 1 suppository (100 mg) in the evening. In the combined preparation assigning different forms (capsules, tablets, suppositories, rr injection) total daily dose should not exceed 200 mg.

Tablets are taken with food, drinking water or milk (not less than 100 ml).

Contradictions

Ketoprofen or hypersensitivity to the drug other components, salicylates, and other NSAIDs; severe heart failure; treatment of postoperative pain during coronary artery bypass surgery; chronic dyspepsia; active peptic ulcer or gastric ulceration / perforation; gastrointestinal, or other cerebrovascular bleeding, patients are prone to hemorrhage; severe liver or kidney disease; asthma, rhinitis; III trimester of pregnancy and lactation; children up to age 15 years.
