KETONAL Indication
Joint diseases: rheumatoid arthritis; serologically negative spondylitis (ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis);
gout, pseudogout; osteoarthritis; extra-articular rheumatism (tendonitis, bursitis, capsulitis of the shoulder joint);
pain: lumbago, post-traumatic pain in the joints and muscles; post-operative pain; the pain of metastatic tumors in the bone; algomenorrhea.
Application
The dose selected individually, depending on the patient's condition and response to treatment.
The recommended dose for adults - 1 capsule 3 times a day. The recommended dose for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis - 1 capsule every 6-8 hours.
The duration of treatment depends on the severity and course of the disease, however, the side effects can be minimized by use of the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time.
The maximum daily dose is 200 mg ketoprofen.
