Voltaren Emulgel Forte Indications
The treatment of pain, inflammation and swelling at:
- Damage to soft tissues injuries of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints (eg, due to dislocation, sprain, bruise) and back pain (sports injuries);
- Localized forms of soft tissue rheumatism: tendonit (including "tennis elbow"), bursitis, shoulder syndrome and periartropatiya;
Cymptomatychne treatment of osteoarthritis of small and medium joints are poverhno such as knuckles or knee joints.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to diclofenac or other ingredients. A history of attacks of asthma, urticaria or acute rhinitis caused by taking aspirin or other NSAIDs.
Dosage & Administration
Adults and children over 12 years the drug provides pain relief for 12 hours after application. Voltaren® Forte used 2 times a day, morning and evening, gently rubbing into the skin at the site of pain localization. Number of drug that is used depends on the size of the affected area (for example, 4.2 g, which corresponds to the size of a cherry or walnut, enough for application to plot 400-800 cm2).
After applying the drug to wash your hands, except when this is the area to be treated.
The duration of treatment depends on the indications and effectiveness of treatment. The drug should not be used longer than 14 days.
If after 7 days of treatment the patient's condition has not improved or deteriorated, consult a physician.
Elderly patients do not require adjustment of dosage.
