Voltaren Indications
Inflammatory and degenerative forms of rheumatic diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, spondylitis)
· Pain syndromes of the spine
· Rheumatic diseases extraarticular soft tissues
· Acute attacks of gout
· Post-traumatic and postoperative pain syndromes involving inflammation
and swelling, eg following dental or orthopedic surgery
· Gynecological diseases accompanied by pain and inflammation, eg primary dysmenorrhoea or adnexitis
· As an adjuvant in severe inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, accompanied by pain, otitis. According to the general therapeutic principles, the underlying disease should be treated by means of basic therapy. Fever alone is not an indication for the drug
Dosage & Administration
The drug should be used at the smallest effective dose for the shortest period of time, given the goal of treatment for each individual patient.
Adults
Tablets are preferably taken before eating, drinking liquid can not be divided or chewed.
The initial dose is usually 100-150 mg per day. In unexpressed symptoms, as well as long-term therapy sufficient doses of 75-100 mg / day. The daily dose divided into

Children (aged 1-14 years)
Voltaren, gastroresistant tablets 50 mg not apply to children due to the high content of active substance. Tablets 25 mg can be applied to children aged

Elderly patients

Contraindications
· Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any other component of the drug
· Acute gastric ulcer or intestine; hastrointenstynalna bleeding or perforation
· Bleeding or perforation of the gastrointestinal tract in history related to previous treatment nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
· Active form of peptic ulcer / bleeding or recurrent peptic ulcer / bleeding history (two or more distinct episodes of established ulceration or bleeding)
· The last trimester of pregnancy
· Inflammatory bowel disease
· Liver failure
· Kidney failure
