Treatment of common renal cell carcinoma in the event that the previous course of systemic treatment was ineffective.
Contradictions
Hypersensitivity to axitinib or to any other component of the medicament.
Dosage & Administration
recommended initial oral dose of Init is 5 mg twice daily. Intervals between dose doses of Init should be approximately 12 hours; the drug can be used regardless of food intake. Tablets should be swallowed whole, drinking a glass of water.
In the event of a vomiting after taking a dose or in case of a dose missed, do not take an additional dose of the drug. It is necessary to take the next scheduled dose of the drug in due time.
