HYPRIL A Indications
Hypertension.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to lisinopril or other angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE);
- Hypersensitivity to amlodipine or other dihydropyridine derivatives;
- Hypersensitivity to any of the excipients of the drug;
- Severe hypotension;
- Angioedema in history after taking angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor, hereditary or idiopathic angioedema;
- Pronounced stenosis of the aortic or mitral valves or hypertrophic cardiomyopathy;
- Cardiogenic (heart) shock;
- Heart failure after myocardial infarction (during the first 28 days);
- Unstable angina (except Prinzmetal angina);
- Bilateral renal artery stenosis or stenosis of the artery of a single kidney;
- Patients with creatinine level in blood serum ≥ 220 mmol / L.
- Pregnant women or women who plan to become pregnant.
Dosage & Administration
Adults - use 1 tablet 1 time per day. The daily dose, depending on individual sensitivity can be increased to 2 tablets per day (10 mg amlodipine and lisinopril 10 mg).
Since food does not affect absorption of the drug, tablets Hipryl-A can be taken regardless of meals, ie before, during or after meals.
Typically, the drug is combined with a fixed dose should not be used for initial therapy.
Patients older drug in recommended dose of 1 tablet per day. Increasing the dose should be made with caution.
Patients with renal insufficiency Hipryl-A can be used in recommended doses for secondary treatment.
