Hartil Indications

- AH (as monotherapy or in combination with other antihypertensive agents such as diuretics, and calcium antagonists);
- congestive heart failure (in combination with a diuretic);
- heart failure after acute myocardial infarction in patients with stable hemodynamics;
- severe diabetic or non-diabetic nephropathy, as well as its initial stages;
- reduction in the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, or mortality in patients with increased cardiovascular risk due to the presence of severe coronary artery disease (with or without myocardial infarction), stroke, peripheral vascular disease history or diabetes with one additional factor of cardiovascular risk ( microalbuminuria, hypertension, elevated total cholesterol levels, low HDL cholesterol, smoking).

Contradictions

- Sensitivity to the active substance or to any other component of the drug or other ACE inhibitors;
- angioedema in history (hereditary, idiopathic or previously transferred during treatment with ACE inhibitors or angiotensin II receptor antagonists);
- renal artery stenosis (bilateral or stenosis of the artery of one kidney);
- primary aldosteronism;
- age of 18 years;
- pregnancy and breastfeeding;
Ramipril is not used for patients with hypotension or hemodynamically unstable states.

Dosage & Adminsitarion

Take the medicament every day at the same time. The tablets should be swallowed whole without chewing, drinking plenty of fluids, regardless of the meal. The tablets may be divided into two equal halves.

Arterial hypertension. The recommended initial dose - 2.5 mg 1 time per day. Depending on the patient's condition daily dose can be doubled every 2-3 weeks. The usual maintenance dose is 2.5-5 mg / day. The maximum daily dose - 10 mg.
