Gepatox Indications

Treatment of associated diseases and complications caused by the violation detoxification function of the liver (eg, cirrhosis) with symptoms of latent or severe hepatic encephalopathy, particularly disorders of consciousness (prekomy, coma).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to L-ornithine-L-aspartate, congenital deficiency of ornithine aminotransferase delta, severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance above 3 mg / 100 ml (estimated value)).

Dosage & Administration

Applied intravenously. If not otherwise assigned, you can use up to 4 vials (20 g L-ornithine aspartate-L-) per day.

In severe hepatic encephalopathy, until prekomy or places, enter up to 8 vials (40 g L-ornithine aspartate-L-) 24 hours, depending on the severity of the condition.

Before the introduction of content added to the vials of 500 ml infusion solution (0.9% sodium chloride solution, 5% glucose solution, Ringer's solution), but should not be more than 6 vials dissolved in 500 ml infusion solution.
