Gentamicin-Dexa Indications
Inflammation of the anterior segment of the eye with concomitant infectious diseases caused by bacterial strains susceptible to gentamicin, or the risk of bacterial infections.
Allergic inflammation of the anterior segment of the eye, accompanied by bacterial superinfection.
Contraindications
- hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients of the drug;
- epithelial keratitis herpes and other viral diseases of the eye;
- wounds and ulcerative lesions of the cornea;
- closed and open-angle glaucoma;
- ocular tuberculosis;
- only bacterial or fungal infections of the eye.
Dosage & Administration
The drug is intended for ophthalmic use.
The drug is instilled into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye 1 drop 4-6 times a day.
Usually, treatment duration should not exceed 2 weeks. Depending on the clinical picture should periodically monitor the effectiveness of treatment in order to determine the feasibility extension or change of therapy.
