Vicks Active Balsam Indcations
The application in the complex therapy of acute respiratory diseases, accompanied by a runny nose, nasal congestion, sore throat and cough.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients.
Cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, angle-closure glaucoma, hyperthyroidism, prostatic hyperplasia and pheochromocytoma.
Hepatic or severe renal insufficiency. Alcoholism.
Patients who are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (or within two weeks after discontinuation of the treatment), tricyclic antidepressants, β-blockers and other sympathomimetic.
Dosage & Administration
The product is only for external use or for inhalation.
Chafing
2-4 times per day applied to the skin of the chest, neck and back and gently rub with light massage movements.
Adults: 2 or 3 teaspoons (10-15 ml) free balm to rub lightly, effortlessly, across the skin of the chest, neck and back.
Children under 2 years: ½-1 teaspoon of balm (2.5-5 ml) lightly rub into the skin of the chest and back.
It is advisable to wear light clothing to facilitate inhalation of vapor. Especially recommended ointment at bedtime as essential oils, which are part of ointments, evaporate for 8 hours.
Inhalation
Adults and children aged 6 years: add 1-2 teaspoons of spices (5.10 ml) in dishes with a wide surface. Warm 1 liter of water (but not in the microwave), without boiling, and pour hot water in prepared dishes. Couple that forms should be used for inhalation for 10-15 minutes.
