Corn Silk Indications
- cholecystitis, cholangitis, hepatitis with biliary disorders;
- cystitis, urolithiasis, edema;
- hemorrhagic diathesis, bleeding caused by lowering the level of prothrombin (in the complex therapy).
Contradictions
Hypersensitivity to biologically active substances of the drug. Increased blood coagulation, increased prothrombin index, thrombophlebitis, cholelithiasis with stones greater than 10 mm in diameter, obstructive jaundice, anoreciasis.
Dosage & Administration
3 tablespoons of corn silks with pillars placed in enamel ware, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover and insert in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes.
Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, drain, remove the residue to a filtered infusion.
The volume of infusion is brought to 200 ml with boiled water.
To take in warm form every 3-4 hours: adults and children over 14 years old - 1-3 tablespoons;
children aged 10-14 years - 1 tablespoon, 7-10 years - 1 dessert spoon, 3-7 years - 1 teaspoon. Before pouring the infusion to shake.
