Azithromax Indications
Infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to azithromycin:
- upper respiratory tract infection (bacterial pharyngitis / tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media);
- respiratory tract infections (bacterial bronchitis, community acquired pneumonia);
- infections of skin and soft tissues: erythema migrans (initial stage of Lyme disease), erysipelas, impetigo, secondary piodermatoz.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to azithromycin, erythromycin or any excipient preparation or other macrolide antibiotics or ketolidnyh. Azithromycin should not be administered concurrently with ergot derivatives due to theoretical possibility erhotyzmu.
Dosage & Administration
Use internally. Since this does not affect the absorption of the drug Azithromax can be taken concurrently with food. The dose is measured using the dispenser, which is in the package. In case of missed receiving one dose missed dose should be taken as soon as possible, and the next - with an interval of 24 hours.
Upper respiratory tract infections and respiratory tract, skin and soft tissues (except chronic migratory erythema): 10 mg / kg body weight 1 time per day for 3 days (total dose of azithromycin is 30 mg / kg body weight).
