Lekoptin Indications
- Coronary heart disease, including stable exertional angina; unstable angina (progressive angina pectoris, angina rest); vasospastic angina (variant angina, Prinzmetal angina); postinfarction angina in patients without heart failure if not shown b-blockers.
- Arrhythmias: paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia; flutter / atrial fibrillation with rapid atrioventricular conduction (excluding syndrome Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW).
- Hypertension.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to verapamil or to any other component of the drug.
- Cardiogenic shock.
- Atrioventricular block II or III degree (except for patients with a functioning artificial pacemaker).
- Sick sinus syndrome (except in patients with a functioning artificial pacemaker).
- Heart failure with decreased ejection fraction less than 35% and / or pulmonary artery pressure above 20 mmHg. Art. (Unless secondary supraventricular tachycardia not exposed to verapamil therapy).
- Fibrillation / atrial flutter in the presence of additional pathways (WPW-syndrome and LGL-syndrome). In such patients, the application of verapamil hydrochloride is the risk of ventricular tachyarrhythmias, including ventricular fibrillation.
- During treatment with Lekoptin do not apply simultaneously intravenously
β-blockers (other than intensive care).
Dosage & Administration
The dose is determined by the physician individually for each patient. The drug should be taken not absorbable and without chewing, with enough fluid (eg 1 glass of water, in no case grapefruit juice) best during or immediately after a meal.
Adults and adolescents weighing over 50 kg.
Coronary heart disease, paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, atrial flutter / atrial fibrillation.
The recommended daily dose is 120-480 mg divided by 3-4 hours. The maximum daily dose - 480 mg.
