Amlopril Darnitsa Indications
Hypertension, coronary heart disease, stable angina pectoris and vasospastic angina (Prinzmetal angina or variant angina).
Dosage & Administration
Adults take the medicament orally with or without food 1 time per day, drinking plenty of water. The starting dose is 5 mg, if necessary after 7-14 days the dose is increased to a maximum - 10 mg.
Children under the age of 6 years with hypertension the recommended initial dose of amlodipine - 2.5 mg 1 time per day. Tablets of 5 mg Amlopril-Darnitsya not intended to bisection to obtain doses of 2.5 mg, therefore it is necessary to apply the appropriate dosage of amlodipine tablets.
If the desired level of blood pressure is achieved within 4 weeks, the dose can be increased up to 5 mg / day. Use of the drug in doses> 5 mg has not been studied for this category of patients.
Elderly patients and patients with renal insufficiency are administered in normal doses.
For patients with hepatic insufficiency daily dose should not exceed 2.5 mg (amlodipine formulations are applied with the possibility of such dosing).
Contradictions
Hypersensitivity to dihydropyridine derivatives or to any other component of the drug, severe degree of hypotension, shock, severe aortic valve stenosis degree lactation.
