Fluzac Indications
Acute vaginal candidiasis when local therapy is not appropriate.
Candida balanitis when local therapy is not appropriate.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to fluconazole, other azole compounds or to any of the excipients of the drug.
- Concomitant use of fluconazole and terfenadine patients who use multiple fluconazole doses of 400 mg / day and above (according to a study of interaction between multiple application).
- Concomitant use of fluconazole and other drugs that prolong QT interval and are metabolized by the enzyme CYP2A4 (eg cisapride, astemizole, pimozide, quinidine and erythromycin).
Dosage and administration
The capsules should be swallowed whole.
The drug is not dependent on food. Adults.
The drug is used orally at a dose of 150 mg once.
Elderly patients. In the absence of renal dysfunction to treat these patients used the usual dose for adults.
Renal dysfunction.
