Flutixon Indications

Preventive treatment:

- Mild asthma - for patients who require periodic symptomatic treatment of bronchial expansion means;

- Moderate asthma: patients requiring regular anti-asthmatic treatment, and patients with unstable asthma or deterioration in the background of existing preventive therapy or treatment with bronchodilators alone;

- Severe asthma, patients with severe chronic asthma. After the use of inhaled fluticasone propionate many patients who were dependent on systemic steroids can significantly reduce the dose of oral corticosteroids or even reject them.

Symptomatic treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any other drug.

Dosage & Administration

Flutixon intended for inhalation use. The product exists in the following doses:

Flutixon powder for inhalation, hard capsules, 125 mg;
Flutixon powder for inhalation, hard capsules, 250 mg.
Special risk groups:

There is no need to change the dose for elderly patients and patients with renal or hepatic impairment.
