Fluanxol Indications

Depression, accompanied by anxiety, asthenia and loss of initiative.

Chronic neurotic disorders involving anxiety, depression and inactivity.

Psychosomatic disorders with asthenic reactions.

Schizophrenia and other psychoses, especially with such symptoms as hallucinations, delusions and impaired thinking, complicated apathy, energy is, depressed mood and privacy.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.

Circulatory collapse, CNS depression of any origin (eg alcohol, barbituratna or opioid intoxication), coma.

Dosage & Administration

Dose and the interval between injections is determined individually based on achieving maximum suppression of psychotic symptoms with minimal side effects.

When maintenance therapy is usually dose range of 20-40 mg (2.1 ml) every 2-4 weeks. Some patients showed use of the drug in higher doses or less frequent intervals between injections.
Flyupentixol decanoate is not suitable for the treatment of patients requiring sedation.

Patients should continue to take oral Flyuanksol during the 1st week after the 1st injection, but at a reduced dose.
When you go to treatment flyupentiksola decanoate to other depot drugs should be guided by the ratio: 40 mg flyupentiksola decanoate corresponding to 25 mg fluphenazine decanoate, 200 mg zuclopenthixol decanoate or haloperidol decanoate 50 mg.

Subsequent doses and intervals between injections is set according to the patient's clinical response to therapy.
Elderly patients should be given the minimum therapeutic dose.
