Floxium Indications
Bacterial inflammation in adults caused by bacteria susceptible to levofloxacin:
- pneumonia,
- complicated urinary tract infections (including pyelonephritis),
- infections of skin and soft tissues,
- chronic bacterial prostatitis.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to levofloxacin or other quinolones, epilepsy, patients complained of side effects tendon after previous use of quinolones; infancy, pregnancy, breastfeeding.
Dosage and administration
Floxium should be used immediately (within 3 hours) after perforation of the rubber stopper. In indoor lighting solution for intravenous infusion can be stored up to 3 days in unprotected from light.
Protection from light during infusion is not necessary. Given the biological equivalence of oral and parenteral dosage forms can be identical. Dosage depends on the type and severity of infection.
