Festal Indications
- Substitution therapy for external secretion of pancreatic insufficiency: chronic pancreatitis, conditions after pancreaticectomy, dyspepsia, cystic fibrosis (cystic fibrosis).
- Flatulence, diarrhea of non-infectious genesis.
- Disorders of digestion (conditions after resection of the stomach and small intestine).
- In order to improve the digestion of food in people with normal digestive tract function in case of violations of chewing function, when using hard-blooded vegetable, greasy or unusual food; consuming excessive amounts of food.
- Preparation for X-ray examination and ultrasound diagnostic studies of the abdominal organs (degeneration of the intestines).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to pancreatin, acute pancreatitis, exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis, intestinal obstruction.
Dosage & Administration
To take it internally during or immediately after eating, pills should be swallowed whole without chewing, drinking plenty of liquid (water, fruit juices).
The dosage is based on the individual needs of the patient and depends on age, degree of digestive disorder and food composition.
