Ebrantil Indications
- Hypertensive crises.
- Severe or very severe degree of hypertension.
- Refractory hypertension.
- Controlled lowering blood pressure in case of increase during / or after surgery.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.
- Aortic stenosis.
- Arteriovenous shunt (excluding patients with hemodynamically insignificant dialysis shunt).
Dosage & Aadministration
Hypertensive crises, severe or very severe form of hypertension, refractory hypertension.
1) Intravenous injection: 10-50 urapidylu mg administered intravenously slowly under continuous monitoring of blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure observed for 5 minutes after injection. Parenteral therapy may be repeated at multiple increase in blood pressure.
2) Slow intravenous drip infusion or continuous infusion using perfuzator..
The solution for drip infusion, intended for the maintenance of blood pressure levels achieved by injection, prepare as follows:
250 mg Ebrantyl add 500 ml compatible infusion solution (eg 0.9% sodium chloride or dextrose 5% or 10%).
If entering maintenance dose applied perfuzator, 20 ml solution for injection (100 mg Ebrantil) entered in perfuzatora syringe and diluted to a volume of 50 ml compatible infusion solution.
Maximum value - urapidil 4 mg per 1 ml solution for injection.
The speed of speed drip depends on individual blood pressure response.
The recommended maximum initial velocity of 2 mg / min.
