- Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum (treatment and prevention)
- Hyper-secretory conditions, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease
Contradictions
Increased individual sensitivity to famotidine and other components of the drug, pregnancy, lactation, children under 14 years.
Dosage & Administration
Apply without chewing, squeezed enough water (for example, a glass), regardless of food intake.
Treatment of peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum - 40 mg (1 tablet) once a night for 4-8 weeks.
In order to prevent relapse, after reaching a therapeutic effect, they switch to the use of the medicament Famotidine (containing 20 mg of famotidine in 1 tablet) in a maintenance dose of 20 mg (1 tablet) once a night, for 1-4 weeks.
