Diclac Lipogel Indications

Pain, inflammation and edema of:

- degenerative diseases of the joints and the limbs in the region of the spinal column;
- localized forms of rheumatic diseases of soft tissues (tendonitis and tenosynovitis, bursitis, brachial plexus neuropathy, inflammation in the muscle and capsular areas);
- post-traumatic inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints (tensile overload, injury).
 

Application

Amount of the drug depends on the size of the affected area. Diclac Lipogel is used 3 times a day. It is necessary to squeeze out about 11 cm of the gel, which corresponds to 3 g (30 mg of diclofenac sodium), and applied to the painful area with a thin layer, rubbing lightly. The gel should dry for several minutes before applying the dressing.

The maximum total daily dose of the gel - 9 g (90 mg diclofenac sodium).
Diclac Lipogel can be used as a supplementary treatment along with other dosage forms containing diclofenac.
The duration of treatment depends on the evidence and the effectiveness of therapy. Indications regarding the continuation of the treatment should be reviewed after 2 weeks.

Contradictions

Hypersensitivity to any component of a drug or other NSAIDs. Gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute stage.

Do not apply to open wounds, infected or inflamed skin, as well as on areas of skin affected by eczema or mucous membranes.

Children under 15 years old.
