DIABETON INDICATIONS

- diabetes mellitus type II: reduction and control of blood glucose levels if you can not only normalize the glucose diet, exercise or weight loss;

- prevention of complications of type II diabetes: reducing the risk of macrovascular and microvascular complications, such as new or worsening nephropathy in patients with type II diabetes mellitus.
 

APPLICATION

Orally. There shall be only for adults. The daily dose ranges from ½ to 2 tablets per day (30-120 mg / day). The daily dose should be taken once during breakfast. Half of the tablets or the whole tablet (tablets) should be swallowed whole (do not crush or chew).

If the patient has forgotten to take a tablet, do not increase the dose on the following day.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

- hypersensitivity to gliclazide, other sulfonylureas, sulfonamides or to any component of the drug;
- insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus type I;
- diabetic precoma and coma, diabetic ketoacidosis;
- severe hepatic or renal failure;
- miconazole therapy;
- lactation.
