Dexamethasone Indications
Purulent allergic conjunctivitis, Blepharoconjunctivitis, keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis without damage to the epithelium, iritis, iridocyclitis, episcleritis, scleritis, eye inflammation after injury or surgery.
Dosage & Administration
The method of use and dose.
1-2 drops 3-4 times a day in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye. In acute diseases instill 1-2 drops every 1-2 hours, further multiplicity of administrations is reduced to 4-6 times per day. The duration of treatment - from 2 to 9 days.
Contradictions
- viral and fungal diseases of the eye, acute eye infections in the absence of special treatment;
- trachoma;
- corneal diseases, which are accompanied by epithelial defects;
- ocular hypertension, glaucoma;
- increased individual sensitivity.
