Denebol Indications

- pain of various origins, acute and chronic osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, periarthritis, bursitis, tendinitis, thrombophlebitis;

- for injuries of the musculoskeletal system and soft tissues;

- osteochondrosis, neuritis, neuralgia, radicular syndrome, lumbago, myalgia, tuberculosis, dental pain, post-operative period in maxillofacial surgery and dentistry, ENT practice (for injuries and operations on the upper respiratory tract);

- for the relief of pain and inflammation following surgical procedures in surgery.

Application

Administered orally for adults.
In the treatment of pain and primary dysmenorrhea Denebola recommended dose - 50 mg 1 time a day, the next dose - 25 mg or 50 mg 1 time per day - if necessary.

The maximum daily dose - 50 mg. Treatment is carried out to eliminate acute pain, but no more than 2 weeks.
Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis: The recommended initial dose of rofecoxib - 12.5 mg 1 time per day, which can be increased to 25 mg once a day 1, which is the maximum recommended daily dose. Assign courses 4-6 weeks. Denebola apply regardless of the meal.

Contradictions

Hypersensitivity to rofecoxib and other NSAIDs, in the III trimester of pregnancy and lactation.

Rofecoxib should not be used for patients with asthma, especially caused by acetylsalicylic acid.
The drug is not used to treat cancer patients and patients at higher risk of the part of the cardiovascular system (myocardial infarction, stroke, hypertension (III stage), clinical form of progressive atherosclerosis).
