Dalacin Indications
Treatment of bacterial vaginosis (formerly: Haemophilus vaginitis, hardnereloznyy vaginitis, nonspecific vaginitis).
Contraindications
Dalatsin in the form of vaginal suppositories contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to clindamycin, lincomycin or the hard fat (suppository foundation is a mixture of glycerides of saturated fatty acids).
The drug is also contraindicated in patients with of regional enteritis, ulcerative colitis and patients who have a history of colitis associated with antibiotics.
Dosage & Administration
Recommended dose: 1 suppository intravaginally, preferably at bedtime, for 3 consecutive days.
Entering without applicator
Remove the suppository foil.
Lie on your back and pull your knees to your chest.
Enter suppository into the vagina using middle finger as deeply as possible, but not to cause discomfort.
If you have a package applicator patient can use it to facilitate administration suppositories.
Entering via applicator
Plastic applicator in the package with the drug, designed to correct intravaginal suppository administration.
Remove the suppository foil.
Place the flat end of the hole suppository applicator.
Lie on your back and pull your knees to your chest.
Hold the applicator at the end of the ribbed shell, gently put it into the vagina as deeply as possible, but not to cause discomfort.
Slowly pushing the plunger type suppository into the vagina.
Remove the applicator from the vagina.
After each use, the applicator should be washed with warm soapy water and allow it to dry completely.
