Acetal C Indications
-Treatment of acute and chronic diseases of bronchopulmonary system in diseases accompanied by increased formation of sputum expectoration deterioration of acute and chronic bronchitis;
-chronic obstructive bronchitis;
- tracheitis;
- cystic fibrosis.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute stage, hemoptysis, pulmonary hemorrhage.
Children under 2 years old.
Dosage & Administration
Used internally after eating.
The contents of 1 packet dissolved in ½ cup (about 100 ml) of water, juice or iced tea immediately before the reception. After preparation of the solution should drink it as soon as possible. Additional fluid intake increases the mucolytic effect of the drug.
Acute and chronic bronchopulmonary system.
Adults and children aged over 14 years are used to acetylcysteine 400-600 mg per day, divided into 2-3 receptions.
Children aged 6 to 14 years old can apply to 300-400 mg acetylcysteine per day, divided into 2-3 receptions.
Children aged 2 to 6 years are used to acetylcysteine 200-300 mg per day, divided into 2-3 receptions.
Cystic fibrosis. Therapy start gradually, gradually picking up the effective dose.
For patients weighing more than 30 kg allowed increasing the daily dose to 800 mg of acetylcysteine.
Children older than 6 years using 200 mg of acetylcysteine - 3 times a day (daily dose 600 mg acetylcysteine).
Children aged 2-6 years using 100 mg of acetylcysteine 4 times a day (daily dose 400 mg acetylcysteine).
